What sort of repair costs can a landlord claim from the deposit? - large terracotta pots
I and two other boys recently moved out of a property. We pay a deposit of approximately 1170 EUR. The owner gives us back 25 pounds. A list of repairs. Some repairs, such as carpets and counters needed to assess the change. But other things like replacing a shower knob (which is broken during the rent and told him of IT) and the setting of a jump of May, we feel useless.
Here is the list she sent me:
Carpet burns grave - € 301.13
Installing carpet EUR 74.00
Go take a step back to 100 pounds of carpet
Professional House Cleaner is in a terrible state - the food still on shelves, etc. .. £ 180 (my comment: there is only 1 cupboard with some cookies and stuff)
Cleaning of carpets in the house £ 57.20
Ceramic hob burn marks around the area £ 117.45
Bin damaged kitchen and took £ 10.76
Burns sofa cover (sofa holes) - € 34.26
Marked armchair cover £ 29.36
Marked stool cover EUR 9,79
B and F of painting materials, etc., large EUR 78,50
Large garden terracotta pot Smashed EUR 19,99
New shower broken and had to be replaced EUR 100.00
Fire Alarm excreted by the tenant - replaces EUR 22.99
2 x bedside tables both had burns on them - € 15.64
£ 1151.07
-6 Weeks of deposit of EUR 196.15 EUR 1176.92
Balance to pay back EUR 25,85
So I seem to recall that the entire structure and hygiene tenant / safety-related repairs must be made as quickly as possible.?

I think you may have a point on the button in the shower (because it could be considered) normal wear and tear, but if they prove to their cost, I think it's the only one that might pay too much, and also this is doubtful. I called and explained the button in the shower and ask for money back--(or) any part of it. If she says no, but would take the court - with the legal costs that you are not again - by a relatively small amount, and you can lose, then maybe (if she says no) would be worthwhile to remember everything about it.
